Words cannot describe this weekends wedding in Queenstown NZ. It was one of the most amazing weddings we ever filmed! We were allowed inside this family for 4 days and we got to know them pretty well. We did so many cool things, 4 wheel driving, motorcycling, helicopter flying and a ceremonie location so remote that the only acces was a 40 min long offroad drive in a 4x4... still so overwhelmed, that it was hard to create a teaser that involves all these events. So excited to show you all of it!

Our Liefstedag wedding video was a masterpiece, we thought nothing would ever come close to the pleasure we experienced reliving our wedding through the most perfect storytelling finished video. Little did we know, the documentary.... was EQUALLY if not MORE satisfying, to see the moments you missed. To see your favourite moments from a different angel, a fly-on-the-wall style viewing of the lead up, the day itself and everything that followed. I now feel I have LIVED through my entire wedding without missing a single moment. We cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you so much Aniek for making miracles happen - you were without a doubt the BEST decision (besides marrying each other) that we ever made.

Hopping from boat to boat in the canals of Amsterdam with people from New York, that was awesome! I loved shooting the wedding of Derek and Nikki on this crazy day full of laugther and tears, sunshine and rain and a lot of good singing and dance moves. Together with all the best vendors, It didn’t feel like working at all!

There are no words we can properly say to encompass how much we love the video! We felt such a range of emotions watching it and it was such a special and deep way to relive our wedding day. Literally laughing out loud and tearing up! Everything from the voiceover moments to the transitions in song between the moments of the day, just wow! You captured all of the big and small moments and everything in between and have weaved it into the most beautiful story. Absolutely incredible! Hi, I’m Aniek and I'm the founder of Liefste Dag. I’ve always loved telling stories through film, but after shooting my first wedding back in 2011, I was hooked. Fifteen years later, I still get goosebumps capturing those little looks, big laughs, and moments you don’t even realize are happening.

Oh mijn hemel. Wat waanzinnig mooi. Deze dag, deze mensen en deze film. Zo enorm kippenvel! En maximaal traanogen en herbeleven. Terug in die bubbel, dat wilden we zo graag! Wat heb je dit al waanzinnig gedaan. Die beelden tussendoor die alleen jij zo goed kan, zoals handen door de trapspijlen en schaduw op de grond. Wauw wauw wauw wauw! Wauw lieve Aniek, wauw. Tranen rolden van ons gezicht bij het kijken voor onze prachtige trouw film! Zo emotioneel, zo mooi. We hebben er geen woorden voor.
